You can redeem Prime Visa points in two main ways: instantly at Amazon checkout using Shop with Points, or through your Chase account for cash back, gift cards, or travel. Points are usually available the next day after a purchase posts.

How much are points worth?

  • 1 point = 1 penny ($0.01)
  • 100 points = $1.00
There is no earning cap, and points do not expire as long as your account is open and in good standing.

Redeem at Amazon checkout (Shop with Points)

You are automatically enrolled in Shop with Points when your Prime Visa is saved in your Amazon Wallet. There is no minimum balance required to redeem.
1

Add items to your cart

Shop on Amazon.com and proceed to checkout as usual.
2

Select your Prime Visa

In the payment method section, choose your Prime Visa card.
3

Apply points

Look for the Shop with Points option. Choose how many points to apply, then place your order.
You can use points to cover part or all of your purchase. Any remaining balance is charged to your card.

Redeem through Chase

Sign in to your account at Chase.com or the Chase Mobile app to redeem for:
  • Cash back
  • Gift cards
  • Travel
Minimum redemption amounts may apply for gift cards and cash back through Chase. Check your Chase account for current minimums.

Returns and negative balances

If you return a purchase, the points you earned for that purchase are deducted from your balance. If you have already redeemed those points, your point balance can go negative.
